G LEO Grant Announcement Governor Whitmer has secured $10 million in federal grant funds for the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) to support the state’s registered apprenticeship expansion efforts and increase employment opportunities for Michiganders. Michigan was one of just 15 states to receive a State Apprenticeship Equity, Expansion and Innovation grant
